"The Prophetic Perspective" is a comprehensive study that addresses questions on the dynamics of the prophetic on the church, the individual and the apostolic reformation. In this in depth biblical exposition Mark Chironna explains the five-fold ministry of the prophet.

Chironna is a gifted communicator, highly respected as a prophetic minister. He writes with an understanding and intellect that unlocks profound truths for the theologian with a spiritual sensitivity and Holy Spirit anointing that will appeal to readers at every level of maturity. The book is an equipping tool empowering the reader for ministry. Mark demonstrates an acute awareness of the roles of the gifts of the Apostle, prophet, and evangelist. His explanations, illustrations, definitions, and word pictures combine to challenge the reader to further study and research.

The Pinpoint the Prophetic feature at the end of each chapter helps the reader explore and consider different, sometimes conflicting, viewpoints on Prophetic Perspective in light of God's intended future to affirm or give a better understanding of long held personal views.

I especially liked the reader friendly format of the book and the organization of the material.

Perspective Changed!

I've read many books on the prophetic, but the seasoned insight and revelation in Prophetic Perspective truly gave me and new set of lenses. This is not a book for the trivial pursuer. This book is for the hungry hearted on fired up to change the world believer! I was stretched reading this book so many times. My mind felt like it was being expanded to a greater level of understanding the Spirit of Christ. If you want a personal upgrade then this book is for you!

I am still reading this book. It's a book of deep teaching, a book that challenges your mind, a book of encouragement, a book that inspires, a book of faith.

Dr. Mark Chironna, in my opinion is one of the best teachers, preachers, and yes, he flows heavily in the Prophetic Anointing. He has a very unique way of bringing forth a right now Word from God and in this book, he opens not only your eyes, but your heart, your mind, as well as your ears to hear what the Lord is saying.

You will NOT regret purchasing this book. It is not one that you will toss on the book shelf and forget you even have. I challenge you to open up and make yourself more available to what God has in store for you!!!

It's decent advice but it's very much an overview not a step by step how-to, it's worth reading as what it is but it will not teach you to weld, no book can do that.

Let me sum this book up for you: Make sure your pieces fit together tightly, make sure they are super clean, shop local if you can, buy brand names, go to tent sales, buy high end equipment if you can or used if you can't afford new, TIG welding is the best option, get a TIG welder that supports square wave and lots of adjustability made by a major brand name, practice on scrap, and ask lots of questions at your local welding supply dealer.

There are lots of pictures of good aircraft welds but not a whole lot of detail on doing them, very few diagrams or charts but lots of pictures of tubes welded together by different methods.

The book assumes you already know how to weld at times and assumes you don't at others. I think the author knows full well what the book is and what he wrote and would agree it can't teach you to weld, you actually have to get a welder and some scrap metal and just try it.

Let me make the author's main point again, if you're not doing high volume production welding you should probably use a TIG welder.

Motorbooks Workshop creates some really excellent books for the beginner and the advanced alike. I am a trained auto technician and I pick up as many of the motorbooks' as I can to brush up on the basics. This book on welding is no different. However, the author does reference different types of welding on aircrafts throughout the book. With a picture of a race car on the front cover, you would expect a little more material on strictly race cars. With that being said, great read, I recommend it.

This scathing indictment of U.S. Central American policy by an American novelist and a Panamanian journalist chronicles 21 years of misrule from the advent of Omar Torrijos to the fall of Manuel Noriega. In describing the power struggle following Torrijos's death in 1981, Koster and Sanchez charge that the Reagan administration helped Noriega, its "protege and accomplice," steal the '84 election, and they scoff at George Bush's claim to have been unaware of Noriega's involvement in drug traffic. The book deals primarily with the crimes and cruelties of Torrijos ("a tyrant, murderer, and thief") and Noriega ("an entirely untrustworthy, totally amoral, sadomasochistic sociopath"), and reveals how the U.S. "midwifed" the Panamanian dictatorship into existence in '68, supported it materially and morally in its various permutations, then cut out the very cancer it had created in last year's military intervention. A credible, informative report, it is, however, studded with angry charges not supported with documentation, for example, that Bush, when vice-president, shared a metaphorical bed with the dopers.

Researched and written several years before the downfall of Manuel Noriega, this book is a powerful indictment of U.S. policy in Panama. The authors (Koster is an American novelist and Borbon is an exiled Panamanian journalist) concentrate on the conflict between "visible" U.S. government policies and the "invisible" arrangements set in place by the CIA. The most effective sections of the book are the inside accounts of the abuses of power by Omar Torrijos and the brutality of Noriega's regime. Koster was an eyewitness to the U.S. invasion of Panama in December 1989, and he contributes an appropriate concluding chapter to the saga. Panama's descent into tyranny does not make for easy reading, but this is an extremely important book for any serious student of American foreign policy. Some of the authors' specific claims may be conjecture, yet the overall effect of the book is chilling and thought-provoking. For academic and public libraries.

Essencial History of Panama and the dynamics of a dictatorship

I am biased towards this book. My father wrote it and I lived through some the events or observed while living abroad. This is required reading to understand American foreign policy in Latin America, Panama today, and the dynamics of military governments. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

The Tyrants, the USA and Panama

I found a copy of the Time for Tyrants in Panama in 1999, and read it in total fascination. I had my own background having visited the country periodically since the period of Torrijos in the 70s, and was a frequent visitor in the period 1986 to 1989, while my firm was trying to complete a contract there.
The book provides a no holds barred detailed account of how the systematic corruption developed under Torrijos and how the torch or key to the cash box was passed to Norriega.
The book records the initial visits by Torrijos to Sweden in the 70s related to major power projects which started the cash flowing, and thereby established the rewards for those that controlled the government. Torrijos and then Norriega set up and maintained the system of total control by non elected individuals.
An important element of this book by Koster and Sanchez is their description of how the US government supported the various tyrants as part of their Canal policy throughout this period until the last year of so of Norriega's reign.
During the last two years of Norriega up to the American invasion the book details the murder, torture, kidnapping and destruction of democracy that were directly orchestrated by Norriega, and the failure of the half hearted attempts by the US government to control or remove him.
As the book recounts, the last two terrible years of Norriega were not necessary. The US government could have dealt with the problem earlier, and avoided the misery that fell on Panama.
During my visits through 1988-1989 I was witness to the abuse of Norriega's "dobermans", and the resistance, especially from the white collar segment of the population. Panama was a seriously dangerous place for everyone at that time.
Koster and Sanchez also imply that there is a culture in Panama that made this saga posible. That Martin Torrijos (son of Omar) could be a credible and nearly successful candidate for President in the 1999 elections illustrates this message only too well.

All of Panama's history except for...........

This book is certainly one of the most comprehensive on Panamanian history. Within its pages are a treasure trove of historical information on Panama's past history and the author put forth an great amount of effort in his reasearching of available information for this book.
Mr. Koster left out a very important event, perhaps by accident, seeing as he was unaware, that in 1979, Panama was invaded by an armed force of Americans, who had planned to overthrow the late General Omar Torrijos and assassinate his military intelligence chief (Lieutenant Colonel Manuel Noriega).
I should know, I was one of those involved in this effort and I have written a book ("Panama-Echoes From A Revolution"), which tells all about this long forgotten piece of Panamanian history.
My book certainly adds this historically important part to Mr.Koster's great work.

Costumes, Children, and a jewel heist, oh my.

This story made me laugh all the way through. I got caught up from the first sentence and it didn't let go until the last word.

A party planner joins Atlantis for their first Holloween topside. Liam, a Warrior from a family of questionable background, is fascinated by her and tries to find many ways to get near her, but when a string of thefts upsets her party plans, Liam stays close. Through quick thinking and because Jaime is organized with pictures and copies of everything, they are able to find the culprits before they leave the island. (We don't get to find out who just that they human and we're delta with.)

The main characters are well thought out and vivid. And manage to stay out bed with each other and fully clothed. Which in and of itself was funny. Especially when they when they spend the last of Halloween night on the beach in each others arms. Is this true love? Will they be able to create the soul bond that Poseidon grants his worthy Warriors with? You will have to read to find out.

Five stats for a fun light read. Costumes, children, jewel thieves, oh my. Pick this Novella up if you enjoy her series. Great story to add to these warrior's tales.

Halloween in Atlantis - Liam's Story - And what a story!

I have all of Alyssa Day's books. I'm telling y'all, the women has the God given gift of writing! She can write a shopping list and still make it worth reading. This is a great book. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Although it's a short story, I loved so much to be reading about the Warriors of Poseidon once again. I truly did miss those wonderful characters and all the rest of the gang. What an amazing experience! It's a must read y'all! I just can't wait until her next Warriors of Poseidon book! The entire collection is a must read and surely a must have! However, she does have other books that are just amazing as the Warriors of Poseidon. I truly think y'all should read those too! Enjoy!

Fun holiday read!

I love Alyssa Day's style of writing so purchasing this was a no brainer. She pulls you into her stories by writing such likeable and relatable characters. It was a good length for a single evening of reading. I wouldn't mind a few more details on the robbers in another story. There were only 3 editing errors in the story which isn't bad. They didn't detract from the story one bit. Overall a good purchase and I would recommend it to paranormal fans and fans of the Poseidon series.
