A wonderful book

I am lecturing a course in Transportation Economics in Istanbul University and this is the primary book that I follow. I highly recommend this book. The book is wonderfully proportioned and practically detailed in many aspects of project evaluation. It is a rate case of success in tackling an issue with such extent and depth.

Maryann Jordan you have written another immaculate story, that will render your readers speechless. Gabe story is about love, loss, trust, survival, friendship, brotherhood and community. The main characters as well as the secondary characters will become family and will take residence in your heart. You will be thrilled to hear about the shenanigans these characters get into. Gabe and Jennifer's connection was undeniable but she made him earned her trust, and affection while protecting her heart and her little brother. Gabe knew he found his home and his family when Jennifer and Ross invaded his heart. He found the missing piece and vowed from that moment on, that he will love and protect both Ross and Jennifer no matter the consequences. Jennifer is one of the sweetest character's you will meet. She is kind, independent and has a pure heart of gold. Gabe is divine; he will take your breath away, especially with his compassionate and protective demeanor maintaining his dominant personality. Gabe's story is sweet and endearing, it shows no matter your situation, love will find you and lead you to your safe haven. Open up your heart and take a chance, if you don't the most precious gift in life could pass you by. Luckily for Gabe he needed a breath of fresh air at the right time. MaryAnn as always your writing is magnificent and you truly are a goddess with words. I look forward to your next book and your amazing characters. Fantastic start to a new series!

I saw Susan Stoker's release day wishes for this author on Facebook today and, since she is one of my favorite authors, I figured if she thought it was good, I should try it. I was not disappointed at all. I loved this book! There is heart, compassion, love, heat, sexy military men, suspense, everything you could want, all wrapped up in one book! Hope next book comes out soon!

This will tear at your heart strings!

Things one of those books that will not only knock your socks off, but also pretty much draw out most emotions you can name off the top of your head.
Yeas there are some super hot sex scenes but there are moments that will bring you to tears. You will feel fear for the characters and see how true love for someone can bring a grown man to his knees.
Gabe has seen both the best and worst humanity has to offer. He was part of the special forces and now works for and with his best friends and twin brother for Alvarez Security. He has been to war torn countries and there is nothing he hasn't seen. Until he meets Jennifer. She is pure goodness and spends her whole life helping those in need. She will bend over backwards to make sure those she is looking out for get everything they need.
Jennifer is guardian to her small brother as their parents passed away. She will do anything for him and makes sure he is her 1st priority. When she meets Gabe, he is everything she would want in a partner and when she sees how he quickly takes to her brother and vice versa, the deal is sealed.
Gabe and Jennifer are a match made in heaven. They know it and so does everyone else.
There is a huge threat to Jennifer's life and Gabe is about to learn just how far he will go to keep Jennifer and her young brother safe. They are his family and he would gladly give his life for theirs.
This will tear at your heart strings and you will most likely need tissues. I was actually still crying right at the very end!
Settle in with your wine and box of tissues, you won't want to put this one down until you get right to the end!

Absolutely ridiculous but terribly fun book

This is the final (?) book in the "Kama Kahani" line from Random House, India. The other four books were sometimes silly, but this one beats its predecessors hands down in the ridiculous stakes. That said, I loved it anyway. "The Thief of Poompuhar" is a fun, anachronistic, and over the top novel with women warriors (historically correct, by the way), evil villains, a majestic hero in disguise that all behave just like modern people would even though the book is a historical.

Not comprehensive

This book is not as comprehensive as other reviewers claim. There is a lot of information about the feasts which is not in this book, because it is mostly about how we can celebrate the feasts today, and what meaning we can get out of it for our New Testament relationship with God. What there is very little of is prophetic teaching concerning the Fall Feasts, which Messiah will fulfill when he returns. It is not in this book. Messiah fulfilled the Spring feasts of Passover, Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, so also he will fulfill the Fall Feasts; you will need to look elsewhere for that info.

About the Author
MORTIMER J. ADLER (1902-2001) served as the chairman of Encyclopaedia Britannica's board of editors, was the founder and director of the Institute for Philosophical Research, and was an honorary trustee and founder of the Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies. He authored the well-known How to Read a Book and the intellectual autobiography Philosopher at Large and was coeditor, with Charles Van Doren, of Great Treasury of Western Thought, declared the Reference Book of 1977 by the American Library Association.

Mr. Adler presents the basic truths upon which American government was founded. He extends these truths to look at the way American government has changed. This thought provoking book grabs the reader by his ideals and offers a thorough shake.

Ever wonder what was meant by some of the phrases in the founding documents of the United States? Mortimer Adler carefully analyzes the texts of the Constitution, Declaration of Independence, and the Gettysburg Address to show where common themes lie and help identify the ideals to which any constituional country should aspire. This well written book moves quickly and the arguments put forth are clear and concise. Mr. Adler provides an education every American should absorb and live

Whole the book was written for bicentennial of 1976, the teachings on the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Gettysburg Address are all applicable for today.
