About the Author
Simon Waterson joined the Royal Naval Commandos when he was 16, serving in the 845 Naval Air Commando Squadron, special forces. He served for 7 years. As well as being a physical training instructor, he was in Bosnia for 2 years and was given the UN Medal and Land Campaign Medal for the campaign. He represented the Fleet Air Arm in the Royal Naval Field Gun Competition which is the hardest physical test in the World today. He has trained Pierce Brosnan and other actors in the World is Not Enough and has trained the Gladiator, Vulcan. Most lately he has worked with Geri Halliwell.

Have used this book before

I used this book several years ago and lost 150 lbs because of following Simon's advice. Would recommend this to anyone looking at losing weight and toning up.

Great book

I enjoyed the challenges this book brought. I didn't follow the cardio portion because I was already slim and not looking to lose any weight. I wanted to firm up and add muscle defination. I did do cardio, but only 2-3 times a week, not everyday.

I had people in the gym stop me to ask what I was doing. My workouts were intense and fast, just how I like it, get in...do the work...and leave. I had bodybuilders admiring the backwork that this book gave. I ended up with a nice v-shape...which is great for making the appearance of a tiny waist.

This workout is challenging, but fun. The results come very quick (at least for me) and I even until the end I was constantly being challenged.

Definately more circuit, with little rest. So if you want traditional weight training this is not the book for you. This book can also work with a 2-3 person group. Anymore and you'll have to get additonal equiptment. When I had another person we would either start a minute or so behind, or do the reverse while someone started from the beginning of the sets outlined.

Whatever book you choose, its all up to whether you go for it and apply yourself.

Excellent. Transformed my Body.

I'm a female, 32. I would recommend this book to a person with an advanced beginner or intermediate level of fitness knowledge in both weight training and nutrition. It provides few basics.
The most important thing you need to know about this program is that you don't have to do it exactly as it is laid out to get the results. But you do have to be committed to the routine and to pushing yourself towards the full workout as much as possible. And, of course, you have to follow the traditional fitness diet to actually *see* the results. I had a herniated disc from a martial arts injury and was unable to work out for 4 months and this book got me in excellent condition in 4 weeks flat.
My recommendation to get started if you can't get to the gym twice a day (who can??) is to save your cardio for the pm after your weight training. It's tough and its far from ideal, but it's the only way I could get through it all. I also wasn't able to get through all the exercises, sets and reps recommended straight away but I did as much as I possibly could, within my own limits, and the workouts were challenging enough to transform my body.
I still go back to the book and repeat the cycle every few months as part of my program to make sure I am continuously challenging myself. It's just a great handbook.

Very helpful guide

This book has been very helpful for planning my trip! I especially like the tips on etiquette. I always like seeing how other people rate their favorite places along with an explanation so I can decide if those are things that interest me. The descriptions are very detailed and offer lots of good information. The organization of the book throws me off a little, I feel like it jumps around quite a bit in the beginning before it gets to the chapters on each area, but overall it has been an excellent resource.
I appreciate the information on the 2015 earthquake damage. Even though the reconstruction is an ongoing process and hard to describe accurately in print, the suggestions that we check the status of certain places before we plan a trip there are very helpful.

Off to Peru...

Wanderlust is an amazing sequel to Edgewood. Mallory, Russ, Jameson and Nadia travel to Peru under the protection of the Praetorian Guard to search for David Hofstetter who has been presumed dead for sixteen years. Although they know the search is going to be a challenge and quite possibly dangerous, they are ready to face whatever obstacles The Associates might put in their way to prevent them from succeeding. However, what will they do when they aren't so sure the Praetorian Guard truly has their best interests at heart?

Several questions from Edgewood were answered while creating more questions about what's going to happen next with these four kids dealing with much more than they should at barely sixteen years old. There was a perfect balance of supernatural and real-life emotions which allowed me to connect even more with these characters. This sequel is much more than The Associates vs. the Praetorian Guard. For the first time I got to see a little bit of Jameson's vulnerability and Mallory's manipulations. Nadia's insecurities and Russ's compassion are still evident but on a much deeper level than in Edgewood and I was incredibly pleased with the way they connected in this book.

While these four are on this mission to find David who might not even be alive, they are simultaneously deciding if they want to commit themselves to the Praetorian Guard. Some realize pretty quickly that they might not be able to say no even if they wanted to.

I devoured this book in a day. It's one of my favorite thing about Karen McQuestion's writing...you don't realize you've been reading for hours until the sun starts to set and are shocked when you look at the clock. I liked Wanderlust even more than Edgewood and I didn't know if that was even possible! I can't wait for the next book in the Edgewood series!

Author Karen McQuestion possesses the ability to write in different genre's and she successfully succeeds!!

I was never a reader of superpower books but Karen Mc? has me hooked on this series about 4 teens, Jameson, Russ, Nadia and Mallory, who each have their own personalities and their own unique powers. The first book Edgewood let's you know what these 4 teens went through at learning how they got these superpowers and now they must learn how to correctly use them. Wanderlust Book 2 takes them on a supervised trip to Peru to see what information they can find about a man from their home town, David Hofstetter, who disappeared sixteen years ago. They don't know if he is dead or alive. They also are in for a lot of twists and turns and make the correct decisions on how to cope with everything they come across.

Wanderlust is a great title as Jameson, Russ, Nadia and Mallory have the desire to wander to Peru and explore what happened to Mr. Hofstetter. I also love the covers of both books as the pictures tell a thousand words for sure.
Karen's writing grabs a reader from the very first page to the very last sentence in her stories. I feel like I am super glued to my favorite reading chair and I devour page after page. I find myself cheering for these teens at times and holding my breath at times with some of the things they encounter. Lot's of twists and turns for sure.

I highly recommend this series. Edgewood (Edgewood Series) | Wanderlust: Book Two of the Edgewood Series and all her other books.

Book two of the Edgewood Series, Wanderlust, keeps you on edge as we find out what happens to the four teens with new found super powers. Loved this book, just as much as I did book one, maybe more. It is a fast paced book that keeps you reading to the end and wanting more. I was happy to get to read from Nadia's perspective in this book. McQuestion is an amazing character writer, she really makes you feel what her characters feel and makes them feel alive. I enjoyed the travels through Peru and the addition of the legend that drives Nadia's story in this book that was a jewel and fun for readers. I am looking forward to book three. I am not one to read many young adult books, but McQuestion's other books are so well writen I was drawn to read all her books and I am happy I did!!

Too Much

Although a reasonable, general overview of vaping, I think this "book" is too expensive for what is essentially a pamphlet. My fault for not checking the size of the file and estimated number of pages. It's a ten minute read. This author should sell the download for $ .99. Three bucks ... I think not.
