The finest concise, illustrated summary I've seen on the subject. A picture does indeed speak a thousand words. The visual summary charts of the cardiac cycle, role of Doppler chocardiography assessing each cardiac chamber, starting with the right atrium, right ventricle, pulmonary artery and wedge pressures, as well as echo correlates of left-sided pressures are clearly presented. Fred Smith does a brilliant job in this book. He writes from a reservoir of experience on leadership. I particularly like his concept of what a leader's authority is: the leader's ability to lead is his gift and basis of authority among those he leads. I find this helpful and biblical.

About the Author

Steven M. You cannot go wrong with a Shelly Cashman Textbook. They really, really know how to write a damn good text book. If you check my record over the years, you'll see that I must have purchased 50 or more Shelly Cashman Products. and the business of a used book is incredible. To go from $150 to $30 for a used book when the used book is brand new is incredible.

The steps are very easy to follow and the bold words with their description was very helpful when it was time to take tests. An Experiential, Exhilerating Positive Pychology Treasure!

Bottom line? I LOVED this interactively brilliant positive psychology workbook (actually, it is so much fun, it's more like a "playbook"!). It is a book about you and the stories you tell yourself about who you think you are. How is that for intrigue? But get ready for some surprising insights. Your life may well welcomed re-writes as Tarragona helps you pan for more personal gold!

I read it twice. The first time, I took scads of resource notes for my coaching clients. The second time, I enjoyed my own totally personalized journey answering the fascinating, curious exercises. Tarragona's skillful guidance gave me a magnifying glass to focus on my own life. To track down the stories I have written for myself. What bubbled up? Lots of "Aha!" moments that surprised me. There were times I stopped dead in my tracks. This creative book gifted me with the luxury of a trip down memory lane. And how my life history, positive and negative, made deep grateful groves and rotten ruts into my soul. And precisely how I could get unstuck in some of my stories' muck.

This is an important book. Why? Because your narrative, the stories you tell yourself about yourself, impact every facet of your life. How you think, feel, and relate to others. For example, if you tell yourself you are impatient, you are! You accept that. Your reality, when you start to focus on looking at yourself in a new way, helps you challenge this previously held belief. Tarragona directs your change course: For several days, count all the times you were, indeed, truly patient. Write down this new information. Writing helps you seal new learning. You may begin to recognize and appreciate your patience. This re-writes a positive new chapter of self-regulation. Terrific!

This is a powerful book. What you tell yourself creates problems or helps you build positive solutions. Tarragona enlightens with genuinely thought-provoking examples how you can joyfully re-write your life scripts. Results? You garner glee via your new positivity!

Wow!!! A treasure trove.

I cannot begin to express the amazement I felt reading and working on this jewel of a book. Tarragona certainly masters her subject and is blessed with a pen that makes it not only a pleasurable learning experience but a joy to work on the creative exercises. As a practicing therapist I admire her capacity to sinthecise the hundreds of hours of studying she has done into not only an easy but very pleasurable and enriching journey.
I feel enriched and improved personally and this book has become an indispensable companion in my practice as a therapist.

I truly recommend this book. The author is very clear and specific about issues that may bother all of us, but somehow is tailored to your needs, your life, your history.

Really easy to read, I read it twice and it helped me very much. For all that you get out of this book the price is a bargain.

Another outstanding book by Nobel winner Friedman

Milton Friedman is the greatest economist of the last half of the twentieth century. The central role played by the Federal Reserve has largely resulted from Friedman's work. However, those who put such importance on the Fed, and use it for State control of the economy, would not be approved by Friedman. This book succinctly explains many of his best economics research. Anything by this great man is well worth reading. But the liberal establishment will not admit to his greatness. As a result, many people are not aware of his contributions. BB has done it again, big time! 5 stars for each book in this collection! I just so enjoy reading all of her books and look forward to seeing what is coming up next! These were all so well written, and exciting-had a hard time leaving to do normal 'house' things. I still have one more to read, but I know it will be a winner like the rest. This is such a bargain-5 yummy books for the price of one, and the new extended epilogues. Do not hesitate to buy this set! I usually purchase her books after I read the ARC because I want to save it, and I did this time also. I did receive an ARC for this set and my review is my own.

Don't Miss this Collection

Hamel does it again with a collection you don't want to miss. 5 hot steamy stories worth 5 stars each with extended epilogues that will grab your attention and not want to put it down till you're done. All older hot alpha men who find their loves in a younger woman but have to fight for their taboo relationship to get their HEA. Even though I had received ARC's for these books in the past and even received an ARC for this collection, I had to buy it to show my support to this author but also to have this collection in one spot.

All of these books are so good and hot love all the daddy books they make you want to keep reading and never let go love all the older men and they make you want them and you feel sad and happy and excited and giddy and hot and oh wow yeah it is all rolled up and makes you want to have some fun I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of these books and they wore so worth the price and B.B. Hamel is the bomb she writes books that make you climb and stay put not wanting to be disturbed lol so good and hot. Michelle
